Originally at Longview CH after a small stroke and Longview could not have any better. A second more severe stroke happened and now transferred to HeritageCH. Only 2nd day in Heritage but again everyone had been very helpful,friendly and helping with new adjustments.

My 81-year-old mother needed a short-term rehabilitation facility to recover from a fractured femur. After researching our options, touring facilities, and considering recommendations from Valley Hospital, we felt fortunate to have secured a spot at Christian Health's rehabilitation center. The most critical part of her care plan was very simple: she was to remain strictly non-weight-bearing on her fractured leg. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing and, in our opinion, unsafe. There were three separate incidents in which her fracture was put at risk. The most serious occurred when a physical therapist mistakenly conducted an entire therapy session with her fully weight-bearing on the fractured leg. Even more concerning, within the next 24 hours there were two additional incidents that again placed her at risk, despite our expectation that heightened precautions would be taken after such a significant error. There were also issues with basic patient care. On one occasion, my mother used her call button because she needed assistance to use the bathroom. Despite both my sister and I calling the nurses' station during that time, she waited 90 minutes before she received assistance for the bathroom. Fortunately, my mother had the financial means to transfer to an assisted living community that offered respite care. We moved her as quickly as possible and since the transfer, the staff has consistently followed her non-weight-bearing restrictions and responded promptly to her needs, giving our family confidence that she is receiving the care she requires. We had multiple meetings and conversations with the executive leadership team at Christian Health throughout this experience. While they acknowledged our concerns, my confidence in the facility's ability to address what appear to be fundamental operational and patient safety issues has been lost. *Update* I see that Christian Health's social media manager has replied to my review encouraging me to express my concerns to their leadership. My paragraph above was meant to get ahead of this - but I'll communicate it more explicitly - we already did this. Multiple times, in multiple conference rooms - all the way up to VP level. Despite all of our feedback and concerns, the breaches in safety continued.

After my 95 year old mom fell and fractured her hip, she soon went to CHC for rehab. Best decision we made. They communicated throughout her stay and Tricia Dolce was so great at orchestrating transport , follow up doc appts and so much more. The staff is professional and caring. CHC is clean and I can’t say enough positive things about the care we received.

I toured the facility today. Very impressed. So clean and bright. A very good energy ! So many pluses- guest gathering spaces galore, hair salon, beautiful PT room, dining room, sun room! Pleasant everywhere you turned. My mom will be recovering from hip replacement there!!

Today I had the opportunity to visit the Christian Health campus, and it truly left an impression on me. Beyond the beautiful grounds and well-run facilities, what stood out most was the compassion woven into every part of the community. They provide exceptional care while welcoming people of all faiths and financial backgrounds, that being the one thing that truly resonated with me.
