This is a beautiful and well thought out building. The common areas offer residents an abundance of options to meet up with friends and enjoy time out of their apartments. The apartments are bright, spacious and well appointed. The staff is very hands on. During a recent tour it was very obvious that every resident knows the ED, Chris. He greeted every resident that we saw by name. As a senior care advisor I would not hesitate to recommend Spring Hills to my clients.
I came in over the weekend and met the Executive Director. He introduced himself as Chris and after spending some time talking about the reason that I came to start looking at a place for my Aunt Lillian. He made me feel so comfortable and took the time to ask me such deep questions and really got to know all my concerns and a great deal about my beloved aunt. Even though we are 3-4. months out from looking to move her in, I have to say that the community and the passion and care that I personally witnessed myself makes my choice easy. The place is beautiful from the bar area, outside courtyards, gym, is is simply elegant and yet a cozy atmosphere. I will be moving her to Spring Hills Livingston by mid to late Fall after we relocate her from the west coast.
New assistant nurse, Rasheeda, is very positive and helpful. There are improvements in the memory care. We really could use a third aide. Most important is the consistency of care which we have not had with the high turnover with administers I am feeling more positive about the care my husband is getting it has improved
My father lived at Spring Hills for fifteen months until he passed away there. The regular staff was always kind and helpful to him, but mid-level and upper management turned over frequently, making it very difficult to manage the ongoing issues with my father's medical situation. Spring Hills ultimately failed my father when it came to his end-of-life care. The day before he passed away, we discovered that his comfort medication was not being administered. After investigating with a nurse, it was found that the prescriptions the hospice had provided had not been entered properly into Spring Hills' system. Furthermore, nobody on staff was able to reach anyone who could fix the situation. As a result, my father suffered for 19 hours before we finally reached someone, the issue was resolved, and they could give the medications to him again. I do not recommend sending your loved ones here.
From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and genuine care the staff provides. The team goes above and beyond every single day—whether it’s helping residents with daily needs, organizing engaging activities, or simply taking the time to offer a kind word or smile. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The team Lori, Nerida, Valerie, Catherine and Jenny are all lovely and I can see why the residents all have a smile on their faces!
