Very pleased with the care my mother receives in a bright, cheerful home setting. Excellent nursing care, very friendly staff and engaging, varied activities and entertainment lead by the Activity Director, Lisa.
My parent lived at Sunrise of Bridgewater for almost five years. Throughout her stay, she was treated with great care, compassion, and respect, especially when she could no longer walk. If there was an issue, the Care Manager responded and the issue was resolved immediately. The entire staff has been trained to execute the Community's core mission: to care for the residents.
I cannot, in good faith, recommend this facility to anyone. The very weekend that my father arrived they failed to administer his medications properly and as a result he was rushed to the ER and hospitalized for six days. Absolutely unacceptable. We were assured that this is a “one time thing”, but he could have died from this critical error. If your loved one has a serious health condition that requires a medication regimen, I suggest you consider a different facility.
My uncle has been living at Sunrise in Bridgewater for several years now and has had very good experiences there. Once my aunt passed, they were especially attentive to be sure he did not become depressed from the loneliness of losing his wife. It is a very clean and comfortable place, he likes the food (so important!), enjoys the frequent music entertainment and most of all feels the staff cares about his welfare.
